Two passengers on a SpiceJet flight were deboarded and handed over to the Delhi Police at Indira Gandhi International Airport Monday after they allegedly misbehaved with an air hostess inside the flight. Police said they have detained the men and registered an FIR under IPC section 354.
In a purported video of the incident, which was circulated on social media, a passenger is seen shouting at a cabin crew member. They are seen arguing inside the flight. Few passengers are seen siding with the man, others are seen trying to intervene and stop the argument. The video was allegedly shot by one of the passengers on a Delhi-Hyderabad flight.
As per police, they received a call around 5 pm. The staff contacted the security team at the airport and the passenger along with a co-passenger was deboarded from the flight.

A senior police officer said, “The security staff told us the airline staff raised allegations of molestation. We tried contacting the air hostess but the flight took off and later she boarded another flight. We are lodging an FIR and sections will be decided once the woman gives her statement. We are taking cognizance of the video. The men have been detained.”
The reason behind the argument or fight between the passenger and crew member is being ascertained, said police.
