Chief Minister launches a program of various four projects under Inspector General of Registration and Superintendent of Stamps at Gandhinagar
Various Innovative Projects:
1. Stamp and Logo of Registration Office
2. New Payment Gateway- Integration of gARVI 2.0 with ICICI bank Payment Gateway
3. A move towards a paperless office – storage of documents in digital form
4. Backup internet connectivity
Gandhinagar, Sunday: Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel at Gandhinagar said that Registration offices across the state will be made more modern and digitized to provide faster-transparent facilities to lakhs of citizens of the state coming to register various documents. With the Digital India campaign launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, today more than 40% of transactions in India are done digitally which shows the success of Digital India. In America people are losing jobs while in India youth are getting employment under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
Under Inspector General of Registration and Superintendent of Stamps and Logo of Registration Office, New Payment Gateway- gARVI 2.0 integration with ICICI bank payment gateway, move towards paperless office- digital storage of documents and internet backup Connectivity was launched.by Chief Minister at Gandhinagar.
Chief Minister Shri Patel while interacting with the workers from the sub registrar offices across the state said that, Such initiatives have been undertaken by the state government with the aim of meeting face to face with the functioning of various departments and their employees through which the government’s work can be communicated more easily to the people. Digital technology has greatly increased the ability of all of us to work and online convenience is being made available to citizens at home.
With the launch of these four innovative projects, the registration of documents at Registrar-Stamp offices across the state will be speedier, easier, uninterrupted internet facility, transparent and also faster in payment refunds. In this regard, we all have to serve the people with a more positive attitude in order to do more result-oriented work, the Chief Minister conveyed his good wishes to everyone for starting these innovative services.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister released the book ‘Digital Gujarat’ presenting the performance and targets of the registration department and awarded certificates to those who performed best under gARVI 2.0. Additional Chief Secretary of Revenue Department Mr. Kamal Dayani said that With the implementation of these innovative projects along with the ‘Ease of Doing Business’ approach of the State Government, various new facilities will be available in 287 Sub Registrar Offices and 31 Stamp Offices across the State. This will result in a huge change in working and provide faster and more transparent facilities to the citizens. Implementation of these projects will also keep employees updated with latest circulars, new regulations, training and technology.
Inspector of Registration and Superintendent of Stamps Shri Jenu Devan outlined the entire program and apprised everyone about the innovative initiatives. On the occasion of the launch of these innovative projects, senior officials of the Revenue Department, officials of NIC, ICICI Bank and the officers-employees of the Sub-Registrar Office and Stamp Office across the state were present.
